Chuka Umunna
Chuka Umunna is the Labour Party’s Member of Parliament in the South London constituency of Streatham, a parliamentary constituency which covers Streatham and parts of Clapham, Balham, Tulse Hill and Brixton. As a person of mixed Nigerian, Irish and English descent, Chuka becomes the first person of Black parentage to represent one of the three parliamentary constituencies covering the Brixton area. Aged 29, Chuka is also one of the youngest MPs in the country.

Chuka is a specialist employment law solicitor by profession and also works at a Central London law firm where he primarily acts for employees but also employers. In addition, he is a trustee of a national youth charity, the Anthony Bourne Foundation, and has been involved charitable youth work in Lambeth too.

He has extensive journalism experience having written for the Financial Times, the Voice and the Guardian amongst other publications. He is one of the Guardian’s Comment is free website contributors and occasionally appears on television and radio including on The Daily Politics on BBC2 and Question Time Extra on the BBC News channel.
 
Martin Offiah MBE
Martin "CHARIOTS" Offiah MBE, is the most famous rugby league player the British game has ever produced. A dazzling runner and lethal finisher, he has scored over 500 tries in his career representing Widnes, Wigan, London Broncos and Salford. Winner of the Lance Todd trophy on two occasions, he is also the only player ever to win the Man of steel trophy in thier very first season of playing the game. Martin has also represented his country many times. He has played Rugby union for the Barbarians, England students, Rosslyn Park, Bedford and London Wasps. In an ironic twist Offiah became one of the few southerners to go north to seek his fame and fortune. After winning every honour in the game he returned south to join the London Broncos in 1996, helping to put them, and the game in the south on the sporting map. His services to rugby were suitably rewarded when he received the MBE at Buckingham Palace in 1997. He has also been awarded an Honorary Fellowship at John Moores University in Liverpool, in recognition of his contribution to the game .

He has become the greatest name in the rugby league game through his prowess on the field as well as his appearances off it. A regular guest on all the established sporting and quiz shows. He has also shown his versatility by appearing in both Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, a feat he is particularly proud of. Martin appeared in the play Mothers Day at the Lyric theatre Hammersmith were he received favourable reviews from Michael Billington of the Times and Nicholas de jongh of the Evening Standard. He played the lead role of Benny. He is also soon to star in his first feature film (cherps by kolton lee) Martin has be been studying drama since his retirement in May 2003.
In 2004, Martin was a contestant on the first series of the BBC1 Saturday Night Primetime show Strictly Come Dancing, In 2005 he also co hosted strictly African Dancing with Natasha Kaplinski on BBC1..A big personality and sense of humour are only two reasons which have helped carry martin onto a host of famouse tv shows including Stars in your eyes, the Weakest link ,Mastermind and premier league allstars to name but a few.Martin Keeps incredibly busy and is also a rugby consultant to www.footballfirst.org which is helping to shape the careers of talented emerging rugby players in league and union.

Martin has a huge passion for house music, this along with a determination to succeed has created a skilled and natural mixer. His style of uplifting sexy electro house and high energy behind the decks delivers a fantastic atmosphere on the dance floor. The past year has seen Martin rise from Sports Celebrity and Rugby Legend to one of the most promising fresh new DJs around.
 
Kristopher Lythgoe
Kristopher is Senior Vice President of Magic Pictures Inc. based in Los Angeles. He was the Co-Executive Producer of Corkscrewed for Fox Reality and the show runner on behalf of Magic Pictures.

He has produced musicals in the UK, his latest a national number one theatre tour of 'THE WEDDING SINGER' staring Jonathan Wilkes and Natalie Casey. Other credits include Coordinating Producer So You Think You Can Dance (USA) for FOX network and Consulting Producer for So You Think You Can Dance Canada, helping CTV establish the Canadian franchise.

Currently Kristopher is the Executive Producer and show runner on a new format for FOX to be released in 2009.
 
Leo Ihenacho
Singer Leo was brought up in South London and has been performing ever since he can remember. He was a student at the Brits School of Performing Arts, whose previous pupils include Katie Melua, Imogen Heap, Amy Winehouse and The Feeling to name just a few.

Leo shot to fame recording songs with Mike Skinner for The Streets albums, Leo has been touring  for about 4 years performing all over the  UK, Europe, USA, Japan and Australia accompanying Mike on vocals. He did countless TV Performances with The Streets, such as Top Of The Pops, CDUK, Jonathan Ross and Jools Holland. They also headlined many festivals including V Festival and Reading Festival.  Leo was nick-named Leo the lion by mike skinner on tour because of Leo's prowess. Leo also performed with mike skinner on stage at the Brit awards 2006.

During 2006 Leo featured on a track with Kano entitled ‘Nite Nite’ which became an anthem all over the UK and was one of the most played videos on MTV. Leo was a participant in 'Love Island 2006' for ITV 1 and was also on the sister show 'Aftersun’ on ITV2.

Leo also took part in The Match 2006 for Sky 1, where celebrities played football against legends such as Ian Rush & Paul Gascoigne. He was also on the celebrity ‘Weakest Link’ with Anne Robinson, which was transmitted on BBC in January 2007.

Leo has now recorded his debut solo album and is preparing to release the first single

Bieneosa Ebite is the Managing Director of Bright Star Public Relations , a full service public relations consultancy based in London. The consultancy provides tailored services to organisations, helping them to communicate effectively with their target audiences.
Bright Star Public Relations has worked with a diverse range of clients including The Home Office, Thomas Eggar LLP, The Open University, Leeds Metropolitan University and Oxfam.
Prior to setting up her consultancy, Bieneosa worked for large brands including McDonald’s Restaurants, where she was a Regional Communication Manager for four years.

Bieneosa is a member the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), where she sat on the Diversity Steering Committee and is the author of the CIPR’s educational guide Communicating in Multi-cultural Britain. In addition, Bieneosa is a founding member of Ignite, - a network to drive forward the benefits of cultural diversity in Public Relations.
 
Rikki Beadle-Blair
Rikki Beadle-Blair is a writer/director/performer who has won awards for theatre, film and radio. His many credits include ‘Bashment’ and ‘Family Man’ for Theatre Royal Stratford East, ‘Metrosexuality’ for channel 4, ‘Stonewall’ for the BBC/Killer Films, and a series of short plays for Channel 4. His theatre/film company Team Angelica has produced 23 successful plays in five years.
 
K Warren
K-Warren was always at the forefront of UK garage with a string of radio successes to his name and he managed to take the underground into the overground. He has since made the transition to a respected producer writer of all genres. As an original member of the Architects, he was jointly responsible for the Brandy & Monica remix of 'The Boy Is Mine' and since then, K has remixed many top UK & US artists including Whitney Houston, Emma Bunton, Christina Aguilera, Samantha Mumba, Shola Ama, Gabrielle, Maxi Priest & Eternal!

K teamed up with Richie Dan for the hit 'Call It Fate' single on Pure Silk and he also had has his own single 'Coming Home' featuring Lee-O (aka Leo the Lion), out on Go! Beat / Universal. This track was a UK Top 30 hit which meant the guys appeared on several TV programmes to promote it, including The Big Breakfast, Nickolodeon, Disney. K's reproduction/remixes of Ed Case's 'Something In Your Eyes' and MJ Cole's 'Hold On To Me' have also been big hits, both in the clubs and on radio.

Other songwriting / producing projects include with Paris (Fame Academy), Shelley Nelson, Blazin Squad, Morjac, Sistaz (girls from Big Brovas/Booty Luv), J'Nay (MOBO Unsung Winner) and Aylin (signed to Pavarotti's production company). Niara Scarlette (no.1 hits with Girls Aloud & Sugar Babes), Sharon Woolfe (no.1 hit Sweet Like Chocolate & works with Matthew Knowles (Beyonce management), Curtis Richardson (J-Lo, LL Cool J, 3LW, Joss Stone).

K has just recently finished co-writing and producing the phenomenal Leo the Lion's album, who is The Streets/Mike Skinner's vocalist & has made many TV appearances. He continues to work with various different artists including Channel U chart topper MC Aggro and aims to get some positive messages out there!
   
   

Hamdi Bonin - Chair

Hamdi is an entrepreneur and the Chair of the Generation Next Board of Trustees. Hamdi is also responsible for assembling the Board of Trustees.

Hamdi was born in Accra, Ghana and moved to London England at an early age. He studied Business at Hertfordshire University before receiving a soccer scholarship to study Communications at University of Jacksonville, Florida.

In 2006 he founded a child protection agency in London. Working alongside the social service system, he understood the difficulties children from disadvantaged backgrounds encountered and was determined to make a difference.

In 2008 he founded the Generation Next Foundation to raise money for and send positive messages to a lost generation of children. Generation Next is a vehicle to give hope to those that have none and to show that anything is possible with hard work.

In 2008 he also founded the Spotliet Media Group. The Spotliet Media Group officially launched its fully interactive website www.spotliet.com in March 2009. Spotliet Media also plans to release details for Spotliet TV, Spotliet Radio, and a Spotliet Magazine.


Ludvig Bonin - Co - Chair


Ludvig trained as an actor at ALRA for three years and graduated in 2003. Since graduating Ludvig has worked in Theatre, Television and Film.

Ludvig is also a company member of the award winning Entertainment Company Team Angelica. Team Angelica is well known for tackling hard hitting social issues and presenting them in a truthful but entertaining manner. They conducted a UK tour in 2007 which went around theatres and schools performing a play surrounding many of the tough social issues we face in Britain today.

Ludvig is working with a range of London boroughs as a Relief project worker. He works closely with children and young people who may be in care, resettlement centres and families in need of support with their children. Many of the people he works with have been through difficult situations but together they are building foundations to have a positive future
