The Generation Next Foundation is a non-profit organisation established in 2008 to provide opportunities for young people. We believe that it is imperative to empower the youth in society so they have the tools to achieve their highest potential. We recognise that it is important to give young people additional resources that can compliment those provided in a school or college environment; enabling them to harness their creativity whilst having a positive and tangible influence on the communities in which they live. With this solid foundation, we have developed a number of programmes designed to bring this creativity to life: Spotliet Star Search is a package designed for secondary schools to discover and share the creative talents of their students. With our professional team of produces that work directly with schools, we produce talent shows that unite students in their passion for all aspects of music and drama. The Spotliet Star Search ends with a London-wide final, where one student will be crowned the Spotliet Star 2010. Generation Next Productions works with media colleges to produce interesting User Generated Content (UGC) for our fully interactive website www.spotliet.com. Belvedere Clothing Company brings entrepreneurism and fashion together, working with fashion schools to produce cutting edge deigns that are distributed and sold within high street stores. Our programmes bridge the gap between the school environment and the professional world. Ultimately our aim is to inspire the young people enabling them to demonstrate their talents, achieve dreams and understand that anything is possible - with hard work. |
